This is a red 1986 Suzuki 230 Quadsport quad ,4 stroke with suspension &
reverse. It is one of the very few sport quads that had reverse back then.,
it has had a few upgrades including Durablue axle, Maier plastic, ? aluminum
rims and holeshot type tires, and a cleanable filter. The frame was done by
previous owner and is spray canned with krylon so it is easy to touch up. It's no show bike but not totally nasty either. Thing is it's dependable and needs nothing to ride. I
bought it 'as is' W/O engine and bought a used engine that was a basket case. I am fortunate in that I
have a local guru on ATV's & dirt bike type engines. He went through the entire engine
and it was rebuilt all stock except for Wiseco piston. I replaced
everything that moves in it !! including crank, rod, bearings ,valves,etc. , replaced
clutch ,rebuilt carb. It cost me $800! For engine assembly .It fires right
up and It amazes me how strong & quick this is for stock, I kept stock
pipe on because I rode mostly in residential areas(quiet). She will climb ANY hill
though,soft or firm! I'm sure a header would add some power also. I have the
headlight assembly also. I can take and send digital pics of anything
needed. Price is a fair $1900 Firm, but I may consider car trailer trades or
other things sellable. I buy nostalgia hot rod & musclecar parts and
buy/sell 73-87 Chevy trucks as a hobby. I especially want a late model 4x4 utilty quad and have cash to add to sale. Located in southern, N.J. in
