Convertible Toy Haulers

Convertible Toy Haulers
I am buildin two toy haulers and one will be for sale. One is a Triton ATV168 Aluminum Trailer, side and rear load, with a Jayco pop-up that's had the axle and tongue removed and 4 boat keel rollers, one to a corner, that roll on a contoured oak track on the Triton. pop-up tightens down to tie downs in Triton track via turnbuckles and rolls off by hand in two minutes. With pop-up on trailer I can only get my 800X2 on and without pop-up, 4 utes. The ATV168 also makes a very good multiple use trailer; lumber, hay and straw, bagged feed, etc. Tandem with electric brakes. The second is aTriton XT20 101 Trailer that has a Starcraft pop-up and ability to haul four utes with pop-up on or six utes or 8Sport quads without. Tandem axle with electric brakes. These are low profile trailers and can be pulled with half ton pickups or V8 SUV's. I quit pulling my 28 foot Tracker Toy Hauler with Garage due to fuel costs and size and weight, 6600 pounds empty.

The 168 with Jayco will be done in 7 to 10 days and will send pics. The ATV 168 Triton Trailer sells for around $2750 new and I paid $2500 for the Jayco and will be asking around $5750 for the outfit. The canvas is excellent on the pop-up and is extremely clean. I paid $3600 for the Triton XT20-101 new, never used, and putting the Starcraft camper on it and I'm hoping to have it done by 1-1-08. If your're thinking of building your own I will gladly provide the building mods, the rollers mfg., and tracking info. I'm not in this to make money but show how enthusiasts, whether MC or ATV, can have low-budget toy haulers pulled easily by 1/2 ton pick-ups and SUV's and still have multiple use trailers. The 168 w/ pop-up only weighs1620 pounds and with my 800X2 Polaris, my total weight will be less than 2500 pounds. My Tracker RV Toy Hauler with garage weighs 6600 pounds with no ATV's in it so with my set-up I'll be pulling less than over 2 tons and with today's gas prices, it's a no-brainer.
