I've got a 1988 Suzuki quadsport 230. I am the second owner and have owned this since 1989. I'm asking $1450.

It was stored in a garage for several years and I have recently taken it out and got it running again. I hate to get rid of this but we are not using it and I hate for it to sit here and rot away.
This is a kick-start ATV, and there is no electric starter on it.
It's a 5-speed with a manual clutch.

I have recently replaced the following parts with the intentions of riding it:
- ALL front suspension bushings
- Front ball joints
- Front Brake Pads
- Steering rack bushing
- new shift linkage
- Front wheel bearings
- rebuilt the carb (since it sat for a while)
- emptied and cleaned the gas tank
- Replaced rear shock with a shock from a Raptor 350
- repainted front control arms
- repainted front bumper

I have taken good care of this but it is 24yrs old. At the moment it needs to have the clutch replaced and the chain/sprockets changed. Neither one of these is particularly expensive. Also every once in a while it has a difficult time starting, but a little starter fluid into the carb and it will fire right up and runs fine. I have not tried to locate what is causing this issue yet.

I have the following parts in a box and they can go with the ATV
- Rear axle bearings
- swingarm bushings
- rear brake pads

Feel free to make an offer, but please do not low ball me. I do not have to get rid of this and I will not give it away.

I will consider a trade for a working jetski, a scooter(no Chinese brands), golfcart, or an old project car/jeep.

 

I've had a couple of PMs on this, but no follow-up, and I need to make some room for a new toy, so I'm going to do a large price drop.

This has been siting in storage and has gotten hard to start again.
