Meeting Time Set???
Ladies and Gentlemen:
I realize that it was indeed too short notice for a meeting this Saturday. Would anyone be opposed to having the meeting Saturday, July 31, 2004? I know Brent and Phil have scheduling conflicts and I believe that others may as well. Therefore, I suggest that we try and meet Saturday, July 31, 2004. This gives everyone a little over a week to see what they need to rearrange as far as schedules go. So...if everyone is agreed, we could meet Satirday July 31 at approximately 6:30 PM at the northern parking area on the river.
For those of you who may not know where this area is pelase feel free to contact me via E-mail and I will send you detailed driving directions. So once again please let me know what you all think.

Guys,
I posted this over in the "Polls" thread, but thought I would post it here to since it would directly affect most of the guys in this thread.
As you probably know, we're trying to get some new trails approved in Seminole, so let me know what you guys would like to see at the trailhead.
What ammenties do you feel are the most important for a trailhead to offer - ie... bike wash, improved campsites, bathhouse, etc...?
Also, if you had to drive 2 hours to ride trails, what would be the minimum amount of acres you would drive that far for? 200, 300, 600, etc.. ????
Thanks for your input,
James

James.....
I can sum my answer up in two words...Brass Pole...'nuff said!!!
Okay now for the real answer. I think a bike wash would be the best thing since sliced bread as would changing area/showers. Pull through parking spaces are great for those with trailers. Another thing that might be of use would be park benches around fire rings so that folks can sit and BS a while after the ride. As for the drive time vs acreage idea, most ATV riders quantify a trail system by mileage of trails as opposed to acreage because most of the time we are not allowed off the trails.

any decent camping area will have showers. fire rings w/ benches would be cool as all get out. if i had to choose between those and a bike wash ... i'd go with the fire places. i like the idea of having a place to sit and talk for awhile before hitting the road home. i usually wait til the next day to wash my scooter anyway.
thats just my $2 worth. now send me a check
