Bobman,
This is true that some of the smaller roads might not be on the downloaded maps but they might be. If you can give me a more detailed ideal of were you are talking about I can look for you. But when you take the gps on your trails you are in affect mapping it and can then download it later as a track. We went to Pine Creek today and I and blacksheep both had ours on all day tracking the trails as it were. I will try to get an example of what im talking about up tomorrow. Spudds you bet you can find brush piles with them, we use them on the *Washeta* river to mark catfishing holes it works good for that and deer stands and all kinds of stuff.

**had to spell it that way for the forum rules the real spelling is an "I" in stead of the "e"

Bobman, you may be surprised at how much the topo map will show you. The place I ride (just east of Clayton) is Hancock land (formerly weyerhauser) also. Quite a few of the logging roads were on the map when I got it, and every time I go down there I keep adding to it. That's half the fun, creating maps of the "roads less travelled" while you explore.
Spudss, The GPS is just like anthing else, they kind of have their own language (waypoint, track, etc...). It can be a little confusing at first, but once you get familiar with it they are surprisingly easy to use. For example, to mark your brushpile, you would simply go to it, push the "MARK" button, name it, and press enter. This creates a "waypoint" which will show up on the screen from now on (or until you erase it.) It's just that easy!
Okay, I'm starting to sound like I work for GPS or something if any of you guys, buy one they should send me a commission

Thank you all for the valuble info. on the GPS Im starting to get the fever for one now..Im going to start looking for one that will fit my needs. I was looking at the sporttrax(I think it was a Garmin) model today I think it had 8mb on it then there was one that had 32mb so Im debating on if I want to go ahead a pay the extra money and get the bigger one.. Can you upgrade memory...Say if I bought the 8mb if thats to small can I buy extra memory?

Yeah, since I can't ride it yet.....It should be really shiny the next time you guys see it

I got the Pro Circuit Ti-4.

I already have a K&N with outerwears, and a jet kit, so all I have to do it pop the airbox lid, jet it, and I'll be back in the ER.

If I'm still in one piece by the end of the summer, I will probably do the cams....Only reason is, I like to tinker with stuff....I should pick up a Zilla or something.
