CENTRAL OKLAHOMA ATV CLUB
#1231
Thanks guys, I have checked the fuses, connections, grounds, and even replaced the little doohicky (technical term for the switching unit on the brake pedal) that sends the signal.
All the lights work. Blinkers, hazards, running lights, backups....They just aren't getting a signal from the brake pedal somehow.
Back to the drawing board.

Hi Guys,
There are some guys here in central Oklahoma (Seminole - about 60 miles east of OKC) who are trying to form an ATV club and we need your help.
We are trying to organize in order to approach our City Council and ask that they approve ATV trails at our local city lake (Sportsman Lake). It would be much appreciated if we could unite with other ATV adventurists/clubs/riders in our state and form an alliance. As you well know, there is power in numbers, and we need all the support you guys can provide if we are going to get this approved by the council.
Obviously, this would be another great place for everyone to ride, camp and rally. Would you be willing to help by attending a meeting in Seminole to organize the ATVers from here and around the state?
Please email me at harmony@okplus.com
We need all the support we can get.

I hope this rain stops , and lets the river go down. Im not about to go ride a flooded river. Last time it rained like this and the river flooded to 5 feet and took it 6 days to return to riding conditions. Aslong as we dont get any more substantial rain we should be fine.
Kieth
If you can would you post saturday night what the river looks like, and if its worth going

Keith,
Thanks for the invite. Where will you be starting your ride from and how will I know you? Shoot me an email at harmony@okplus.com or call me on my cell 405-245-3553. I seriously might show up.

I'm not Keith, but I'll answer your question.
We usually park just north of the bridge, but some people just park by the train station and ride their quad down to the river. Do NOT park at the train station.
Most of us park right on the river bottom in a loose group of trucks and quads, and just ride from there.
You can pretty much ride north, or ride south....That's about it. If the river is down far enough, you could probably drive across the state if you had the gas.
Sometimes we chase each other around in groups, and sometimes a few of us go off in groups of two or three.
It's pretty informal, we just go with the flow.
