Does anyone like to ride at the South Canadian river. If you do I know a good place to go.

 

I'm goin with a group down to Red River May 10thish. I'd like to ride the Canadian and Cimarron sometime too.

We ride the South Canadian south of Seminole. We get on the river at a place called the "Rivermist". Sometimes we get on at a private access down by Holdenville called "Crow's Place". And there are many guys on this forum that get on the South Canadian in Purcell, Oklahoma. Where do you ride it? I've heard that you can get on in Norman, but I've never gotten on there.

We also ride other places like Prague Lake, Big Red's Offroad Park and Lake Murray - as well as other places like southeastern Oklahoma and Mena, Arkansas. But, the South Canadian is a blast.

If you're entering near the bridge at Highway 48, be careful.... My "Great" (actually not so great) uncle owns land on the east side of the bridge & won't even let me access the river from there.. He HATES atv'ers of all kinds and has been known to get into many pissing contests with people who even dare cross by his land IN the river... I hate it that there are people like that, and hate it even more that my great aunt had to marry one of them...

I'd love to go but I have to do that stupid Walk America thing, my wife insists that I go every year and it sucks! anyone wanna go walk with me on saturday? all you have to do is get up super early, take this stupid long 14 mile walk all through downtown OKCthe whole time while your thinking"why in the Heck am I walking when I bought a 4wheeler" its really annoying lol but your all welcome to join!

 

That is not the super expensive event at sparks is it?

 

Mudstock will cost you 50$ per person and quad. Even if you are not going to compete.
