Still healing, finally went to docs, he couldn't believe how sore I was still, so X-Rays, He supects I Broke, cracked or bruised some ribs. Tests and Good Drugs. Hopefully Weekend after this I'll be able to RIDE. =-)

Be cool if someone new of a River Access point for me off of May and Memorial. LOL

L8R!!! Everyone have a great safe riding weekend.

BTW, I am a little curious about taking your switching your tires back to stock for the river, just cause stock runs better in the sand?

Yea Mike, mud tires just dig a bottomless pit when in loose sand plus the big lugs offer more resistance to have to push around. I am not sure that my stockers are gonna be great but i am sure they will be better than my bugs. BTW my stockers are actually off a polaris and i think that they are radial carlisle badlands XC tires. I think that Brent has had good results with his Bighorns as far as sand riding goes, but you would have to ask him about it..

Since I pretty much just have to stay at home, anyone care to share their weekend riding adventures so far? Live my weekend thru yours.

Thanks.

Raptor Chief,

The only riding that I know of at Eufala (for sure) is below the dam. Just go to the dam and on the south side, go down below. There are many trails above the river bed and if you get there before I think 11:00 (when they release water from the lake), you can ride the river bed.

Mike,
We rode at Holdenville Lake this weekend. Hope you heal up soon so you can go play again.

Raptor,
You can get a full days ride below the dam at Eufaula. I don't know how far down river you can go, but I've been at least 15 and there are trails and hills in various areas. Course, some of them are kinda hard to find unless you know where they are. Even still, there's plenty to keep you entertained.

If you wanna go to Arkansas, you can hit the trails in Mena. Mountain trail riding is pretty good there. There is a campground near there called "Wolf Pen Gap". They have cabins and RV hook-ups for rent and you can ride to the trails from camp. Here's a link to their website

Good luck,
James

this is kinda late, but sunday me Jed and brian went to lake murray, hit some killer holes. I've never been as muddy as I was sunday and mud is my main course of action! great ride. Jed bent a tierod about 10 minutes into the ride, but I took it off and beat it straight with a stick (caveman style) and sent him to oriellys to get some car tierod clamps to strengthen it up and we were off again. brian got to break-in his new kitty kat 400 in some pretty nasty holes. for a 400 that thing is super in the mud! I ended up finding a spot that was an inlet full of cat tails and looked like a swamp and decided to try it, about 30 seconds later I thought I was going to lose my bike it immediatly sunk to the fenders in mud, got winched out and decided not to do it agian. later we found a really sloppy hole and decided to try it, all 3 of us got stuck, pulled out and tried it again. played there for probably 2-3 hours slinging mud 30ft in the air. good times. too bad andy wasnt with us!

I think I'll be ready for a weekend of enjoyable riding as soon as I can find a place to bolt these darn training wheels? Any ideas?
