My husband and I went last year with our Dirt-Slingers Group, we had a blast. The competition events weren't that great, but the trails were cool, and lots of them.

There were seven of us that went last year. Had a great time. Conditions were very dry so there was a lot of dust. We packed extra air cleaners and had to use them by the second day.

From the website it appears that they are trying to break up the crowds at night. We stayed in a hotel while the rest of our group camped at Quadfest. They said it was loud nearly all night. They do not allow wheelers to run the area after dark but the music and partying went on for hours and hours.

Also, it is a good family event. Our daughter (5 years old) went with us and had a great time. All of the riding is in one direction around the property so I just had to watch behind for anyone coming up on us.

We will be going again this year.

most of the trails are easy to moderate level. Even with it being very dry there were two large mud pits along the trails. The trails are generally smooth one of the trails was mostly rock but it was only one out of many trails.

We traveled from North West Virginia and felt it was worth the time and expense to go. This years group will be larger, my brother will be joining us from Upstate New York

You are that close. You definitely need to go then. We have 18 hours worth of driving.
