While snowing and blowing may be the story for much of the nation this time of year, the west coast division of some hot ATV race action should take some of the nip out of the air. The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has accommodated by announcing the 2011 schedule for some of the most exciting off-road racing in the western United States: the AMA Racing West Hare Scrambles Championship Series.

The series awards AMA No. 1 plates across a range of age, skill and displacement classes to some of the country's fastest woods racers.
