Michigan Based ORV Club I joined a few years ago. I feel they are a very involved, and well organized group. We have Monthly Rides as well in the Northern Lower of Michigan.

I have never seen one single representative from this club at an ORV board meeting? Im wondering why they do not get politically involved in our sport?

What ORV Board Meetings are you refering to?? This club has been instrumental in developing the new Emmett County Trail system, with the DNR.

Thats great and im happy to see them trying to expand riding opportunities in Michigan. We have quarterly meetings in Lansing for ANY interested ORVers in Michigan. It give operators the chance to voice their opinions & concerns to the ORV Advisory Board and the DNR. I've been attending since 1999, and have never seen one single rep from the club you mentioned present at one of these meetings, but it does sound like they are getting involved in OTHER area's and I like that. For example, Michigan legislature just raised ORV sticker fee's from $16.25 per ORV sticker, all the way up to $ 36.25 in April of 2014. This legislation BARELY passed and if we had a few more voices in Lansing to oppose the increase, it would not have happened.
