Bandit XC tires
#1
I am thinking about getting Bandits for my Blaster. I need everybody's opinion on the Bandit rear tires that have ever used them. I need them for semi-muddy and dry hill climbs, weelies, mud, not to deep water, a little sand, powder dirt. Thanks a lot

I'm currently on my 2nd set of XC's on by Warrior. I have them on all four corners and obviously I like them. The rears will hook you up like a slingshot and the fronts let you corner with no rollover or pushing. You pick the line & they go where you point. You can break the rears loose if you want to slide, but they don't do it all by themselves
.The Bandits are a true four ply tire, not a four ply rated. With the Kevlar band they are a little heavier than some but the performance is worth it. Also the rears are a new tread pattern from mine, and have a more open tread pattern and a less flat profile, which Pure Sport claims gives even better traction & less weight.
If you possibly could do it get all four at once...you'll be really surprised how your ride will perform in the technical stuff.

Just to add to this, I have Bandit XC's on my Recon, and they are a bit heavier than stock. However, I put mine on Douglas black labels, and found that the aluminum wheel offsets the weight gain. Stock tire on steel wheel and Bandit on aluminum weigh the same. I do not have big hours on them yet, but like them so far.

I had these on my Warrior and really liked them. They were exceptional for flat track type corners. They also worked pretty well in the mud considering they are not a mud tire. The only thing that I didn't like was the ride. They are a lot rougher than most tires. Hope this helps!

I have a set of these on My 250x and they are awsome they slide and hook up great on all types of terrain. These tires are also very tough I live in WIsconsin and the trails are very rocky and these tires literaly take a beating they also wear very well. I am very pleased with there performance.

Bandit XC are a great tire choice. I have them on two different quads and think they handle different terrain well. They clean out well through mud. What I like the best is that they are so tough. I haven't had a flat yet, and to me that's worth the price, and the weight. These things seem industructible. I haven't tried the fronts but bandit XC on the rear is what I plan on staying with.
