Highlifter tested them with every thing on the market and of course (its their product) said they did the best. The guy told me that they had 589's, Mudrunners, Mud Bugs, Tri-Claws, Vampires, 28" Vampires, and Outlaws and everything got stuck at some point except the Outlaws. He also said that the best rider was on the stock 450 honda with the Outlaws and that could have had something to do with it but thats what happened when they went to test it. He said that Maxxis makes the tires for them. Gateway is just in the partnership for the Outlaw. Thats why they are so light, they use the same lightweight rubber compound found in the Mud Bugs.

I would think that they would do better in mud than the 28" Vampires because they are so much wider. The Vamps have massive lugs, but the 12" wide rears would have to have more mud plowing ability than the 28" Vamps which only really measure 9" according to Highlifter. I believed him cause I measure my 26x10.5 Titan 495's and they were only 9.5 inches wide at the most.

You didn't see what I saw cause I didn't see anything. I got this over the phone with Dan at Highlifter the other day when I was pricing Tri-Claws.

Are you jealous or something because you have a different kind of tire? What the hell do you care what others think? I got Claws. I think the highlifer 28" are probably better in the mud than they are, but it doesn't bother me any. The highlifter guy saying that his tires are the best is no different then some guy on this forum that owns Vampires or Mudrunners saying that what they have is the best. You don't have to freak out about some opinion based post pal.

What the hell does jealousy haft to do with anything. All I wanted to now is what people
think of thes tires because I plan on buying them.
And why i am getting titan 489's for is because im going to get a goed tire that will fit a stock
wheel and thats best I can find right now.

you need to lay off of you'r attitude just a little bit more.
