I have a 00 Quadmaster and would like to upgrade the tires.

Are 4 - 27" tires worth the extra $100? Is the XT a better tire?

Will the 27" tires give me plenty of clearance around the fenders?

Thanks

Hey i heard thes tires are great all around tires.
Now ive seen on a movie that thes tires ant the best desision for mudding. When that movie was
playing there was a honda rancher that went right
past the trx 300 big wheel kit with a locker on it. That shows you how good the rancher is. Now
this was just advice so be happy for what you get.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Oh Harold, obviously you haven't recieved your Lovinhonda decoder key yet. Usually takes 6 to 8 weeks after you register (via US mail).

I'll translate for you:

I think (based upon nothing) that the aforementioned tires are a poor choice for mudding applications. Also, I have a Honda Rancher that tends to leap over entire mountains.

Honda4Dan,

Man I can barely type this reply, I'm looking through watered eyes and still haven't caught my breath from laughing.

Thank you for making my day. It was going rather slow and uneventful prior to reading your post. BTW, from your post I'd assume that you have the gift of interpretation of tongues.

I just got 27" Claws a few weeks ago. Unbelievable traction, and the ride is good as long as you aren't going real slow on pavement. They sap a little power, but only real noticeable in the higher gears and that is probably the same with all 27" tires. They will of course affect your speedometer reading because of the added diameter as well, but thats not really an issue. I have found them to be an excellent all around tire as far as the super agressive types go. This meaning something with a 1.25" lug or better. They jacked up the ground clearance a little over an inch, but I had the 26" stock titans before. You would get more seeing you have 25" on now. I feel as if I got the right thing. At least for me.

I have the 27" Titan 589's on my quadrunner 500 and have plenty of fender clearance. I really like the 589's. They are great in the mud and ride nice on the trail. I would look at them before buying the Blackwaters.
