Blackwater XT Tire- Traxter 2000
#1
I ' ve got the blackwater XT (27 ') set for my traxter 2000, but when I dress the ATV with the
set, the quad shake going forward but not in reverse. The manufacture advertise the XT 27x9x12
and 27x12x12 to fit the traxter. Question: do I need any extra modification in order to use this
set? Which could be the reason for the shake ? Thank for your help. teitu

You may need to balance the tire on the rim just like you would on a car tire, or you may have some mud dried to the inside wheel well. It will shake more at higher speeds. Make sure you put them on the ATV correctly. Use the star method when securing the wheel to the axel. Hope this helps.

I would say you bought the wrong tire for your driving style. If you're running on alot of hard surface you're going to get a rough ride...should lessen at higher speeds. I drive on alot of hard packed roads myself so I bought a tire that was well suited for all types of driving...hence my dirt devels. But you have an awesome tire if you do plenty of mud running.
Just my two cents.

I have the same setup as you have (2000 Traxter with Blackwater XT'S)and I run them with 4.5 psi in he back and 5 psi in the front. At very slow speeds, there is some vibration on the handle bars but this goes away above 5mph. These tires are vast improvement over the original tires. They are great for normal trail riding, muding and in the snow. I have 3000km on my Traxter with no significant problems so far.
