Default snow tires

hey i was looking at the Kenda Dirt Dogs for a snow tire, anyone out there try them before? do you want something with a bar like tread like the dirt dog or a bunch of knobbies? i was thinking the Dirt Dogs with a few studs in them would work out pretty good. any suggestions?

I have a set of pure sport realators that I run in the snow. They seem to do pretty good. I live in indiana so we don't get a whole lot of snow but wen we got 8" I rode with no problems. Good luck.

for snow u want a bar type tire, but for ice u want a turf tamer tire, the more edgest touching ice more tration for for snwo u want sumtin that will help you float. like spark said, the realtors are really the only way to go. cuz they help make the rear end float in snow. rode a raptor and a 400ex and a r that had them and they would go almost as good as a sled in some places. the ex had those chain on skis from like cableas and he could go ne wre it seemed

I forgot before the realators are also directional. You can turn them around for hard pack or the other way for sand and snow. They are kinda rough riding on the dry but great in anything wet.
