Default Bigger tires for a 04 Rancher AT............

I have a 2004 Rancher At and im wanting to get bigger tires for it. The factory tires are (front) 24x8-12 (back) 24x10-11. What size tires do i need? I would like to go with at least a 25" to 26" tire. So I guess my question is do i need a 25x8-12 and a 25x10-11? I know how to read car and truck sizes but is it the same for atv's?

Numbers: Tire Diameter (Height) X Tire Width - Rim Diameter

I run ITP Holeshot ATR's on ITP 12X7" aluminum rims, on my Ranchers and love them! It is a whole different bike! Spotrier ride, way wider and therefore more stable, lighter, and looks sooooo good. Thing is you are then looking at the added cost of new rims. Some places (like Rocky Mountain) offer package deals (mounted tires and rims) that will save you some money.

SIZING:
HOLESHOT ATR
Front: 205/80R12, 6-ply
(25x8-12, 6-ply)
Rear: 270/60R12, 6-ply
(25x10-12, 6-ply)

sinseigtr- It would be good if you could get 12's (rims) for the back. The 11's are just going to complicate things in the future. When reconranger wrote a 12x7 rim, it's a 12" height and 7" width. You can go bigger with the first two numbers but the rim size has to stay the same. 25's are probably going to be the tallest tires you can get as long as you have the 11" rim on the back. There might be something out there if you look hard enough.
