Just wondering if anybody has put paddle tires on a Recon or even seen one with them on. I have a friend who is planning on coming to St. Anthony with me and he was wondering if he could, what size and how much good would they do?

 

I put some 21x12x8 haulers on a 250EX (same bike, just a few lbs. lighter) last summer for a trip to Winchester Bay. They did fine, but were a little wide for clearance (rubbing against the muffler). I'd recommend no wider than 10".
Riding that EX was more fun than what's right, it went 95% of where "real" quads go! You just have to pick and choose your lines and get a good running start up the hills.
