if they are in good condition and nothing wrong it's a steal of a deal.

Default good deal??

hey, i just learned that if i get zps i will need to get a zps rear shock too. would this be worth the extra money, or should i just get limited mass or something like that?
thanks!

ZPS is worth it but you are starting to look at quite a bit more money if you end up needing to ZPS your rear shock as well as the fronts. If you have the money it is great though.

I don't know much about a 400EX but I assume the rear shock has a rezzie, no?

If so I am sure you can get it converted to ZPS through one of the major shock companies - I had an Ohlins converted to an Elka dual rate ZPS setup and with a revalve it was $325 - if you don't need it revalved it is quite a bit less cash.

Contact some places that service shocks and see what they can do for you.

So I'm guessing you can find some good front shocks for 400-500? and then maybe 200-350 for a rear conversion. Your mileage may vary.
