Spinning while pulling, will it hurt anything?
#1
Just got done pulling a rock out of the way to make sure anyone who rides the trail doesn’t hit it, it spun a bit where it was muddy/wet. This is a simple question but can this damage my ATV? Spinning I mean, if so how?
Thanks

Not as long as you don't over-rev your engine (but it may have a built-in rev limiter to prevent that), and you don't mind the little bit of extra wear it may put on your tires...

Great! Tires are OK they gotta go sometime anyway, not sure on the rev limiter… 2k4 foremanS if that helps, I know some of the questions im asking are making me look like a new-b. im not a new-b at riding, just taking care of one.

Even if your quad doesn't have a built-in rev limiter, since you are one to be concerned with the care of your machine you can probably judge for yourself if you are overrevving or not by the sound and feel. If you ever ride in the snow, wet grass, or go up a loose hill, you will probably be spinning your tires more under those circumstances, so no problem...
