Default Question on Goodyear Rawhide MTR

these guy's wouldn't steer you wrong... good advice... One tip I would offer... the MTR's are the only radial ( of it's type ), over 25" O.D., & most of the 25" radials run short ( for the very reason of "roll over" that these guys have expirienced )... you may notice that the MTR's are different O.D.... the fronts run short, but are a full 25" O.D, the rears measure a full 26"... if you run the previously suggested 6.5 - 7 psi, in the fronts only, & around 4 psi in the rears, this will even out the O.D.'s & I think you'll find the MTR's will work great, for most types of terrain... they are only a 2 ply sidewall, & 4 ply tread tire... ( most of the radials ( other bias plys also ), have less sidewall plys than tread plys )... the softer sidewall is a charictoristic of the radial tire... look for pictures of my quad this summer, with 26" O.D. performance radials ( with rim gaurds ), mounted on custom 16" O.D. aluminum wheels this is the future of ATV wheels & tires... this will shorten the sidewalls, giving me a much better handling quad, for hare scramble races...
