I love my Gators. I don't think your 700 will have any trouble spinning them. But with 12" wide on the front you're probably going to have some rubbing problems in the front. Probably going to need some spacers. They work great in the mud in my expirience. Never had them in the sand, but I have heard also that they aren't much good in it. Maybe someone with expirience with Gators in the sand will chime in.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Gators great tires in mud and trails very bad in sand.Mine will dig down in sand and bury you if your not careful. As for your size I would rethink that try a 26 or 27 and keep the stock width .

I have gators on my rubicon and find them great in mud and most other conditions including snow.I have not ridden them much in sand though so I can't help you there.

ive got 26x12x12 and 26x9x12s on my eiger manual and theyre awsome in the mud and snow i find i rarly have to use 4wd in places id never dare go before.I know the 26ers have 1-1/4" lugs on em as for the sand? we dont have much of that up here ,so i have no idea

I just traded my 589's for Gators and they work great in most conditions but not in sand as they will dig an bog your quad down. Gators are not as tough compared to the 589's but my P700 seems to turn them without any effort.

As for your sizing, 27" are perfect but I would stay away from the 12" wide on the front as your steering effort will double which will decrease the joy of riding vs the standard 10" width. Should you plan on riding on various trail conditions the 10" will be enough but if your bike is a pure mudder only, then put the 12" on the front but you will need spacers.

Mudbugs seem to get better reviews by ATV M members but I don't have any experience with the Bugs.

I wanted the Gators for the side lugs and they are a little lighter vs the 589's.

I completly agree with this But is i were you i would get some ITP 589 at mud throwers I have had both gators and 589's and 589 are ok.. in sand probaly a lil better and and 2 or 3 times better in mud so for sure go with the best ITP 589 and that web site is the cheapest on the web. Tust me i have looked everywhere and they have free shipping that is why they are cheaper. Good luck go with 589

The Gators are a real good mud tire. The only down fall I see with them they don't go the greatest in reverse. I also got some Mudlites and the go better in reverse than the Gators.
