Default 46T Rear sprocket

Hi Guys n Gals,

I'm planning to increase my Warrior's rear sprocket size in the interest of more torque/takeoff. My current gearing is 12/40 and I was planning to go to 12/44, however, getting a 44T sprocket is being a bit of a pain. My normal supplier for such items doesn't have the 44T in stock and god only knows when they'll get more. Local suppliers are as useless as ***** on a bull, so that's out.

My question is basically this .. am I going to run into chain length problems and/or interference with the swingarm skid by going with a 46T rear?

I can get a 41T, but I don't think the increase would be that great over the 40T stock. With the 12T front I have installed right now I have a tad too much chain slack even with my adjusters tightened all the way.

Anyway .. any help you guys n gals can give would be GREATLY appreciated
