Default muffler for timberwolf

Looking for muffler for 1996 timberwolf. Need aftermarket that is as quiet as the stock. How about the Cobra quiet series? Does it have a db rating?

Thanks,

Tom

I have a cobra that was supposed to be the 'quiet' utility one. It is horrible and it is on the shelf now.

I got the Supertrapp IDS quiet series, I'd say it's as quiet, if anything maybe a tad lowder with the minimum discs, nice tone, I use it for hunting so that should tell you something! =-)

I got mine for $120 brand new off EBay, haven't seen them on there for a while, but there was more up for sale that didn't sell! I would look at any place that sells Supertrapp pipes, I know Denis Kirk off hand does. But there are so many more than just there. It's worth it on that machine though, just be sure to compliment it with a K&N intake and jet kit. I haven't even put the intake kit on yet and am satisfied with the pipe in all means. I got a 260cc Powroll bored and stroked engine, so it feeds off them mods, just need to find a bigger carb. Putting on Grizzly front struts, and maybe my rear Raptor shock when I replace it with Elka shocks. They'll give me a lift while giving me more suspension travel, as long as they fit the same, if not, I'll make them fit!
