Default He guys new to the forum, have a tire question

I just bought the wife an Polaris 04 Trail Boss 330,Well I had it the woods today,it was real muddy and rutted up.I know this bike is a two wheel drive bike,But it stunk in the mud.I got barried more that a couple times the ruts were a bike problem with me getting hung up on the bottom of the bike..Would putting taller tires help with the ruts??Do I need to have the same size diffarance between the front and back??I know these stock tires cant be the best for mudding.I just ordered a winch to help when it gets barried..

The tires are AT489
back AT 22x11x10
front AT 23x7x10

I am new to the sport, what options do I have for tires..Thanks for your help..

i had the same bike same problem, i put 22x12x10 rear and 23x8x10 front kenda bearclaws on, it went everywhere, the stock titans suck in the mud, dont go to bigger tire size the engine will bogg down, not enough power the problem with those stock tires is they dont clean themselves the mud gets caked on and stays on try these or the mudlites.

my buddy has a trail boss 330 and I must say that I have only seen him get stuck once and he takes it through everything he can....but ya the ground clearence is a little weak with the stock tires...that is were his problems come..is ruts...but he put some good afermarket on the rear and left the front and it made a HUGE difference....as for going bigger.....you can go an inch bigger and diameter and an inch bigger on the sidewalls...but if you do it will strain your engine...to fix that you should add a pipe....filter....jet...and probably even some clutch mods....for now i would just invest in some better tires...I hate the titans.
