Default New-be question about suspension

Planning on buying this week. I have a question about the independent rear suspension. How does the Honda type (one spring) compare to a real independent suspension like the Arctic Cat. I will be using in a very rocky and uneven surfaced area. Which would be better in that type area?

Default New-be question about suspension

for rock crawling i would think the IRS is better as compared to SRS because with IRS when one tire goes over an obstacle the other tire isnt bother as much therefore staying more planted on the surface. with SRS when one tire is doing something the other tire is largely affected because they are directly connected. now if you were to do any high speed riding i would suggest SRS because there is less body roll and the quad will slide easier than the IRS quads. hope this helps

For the rocks I would go with the IRS. Either artic Cat or Polairs see which fits you better and whitch has a better low range.
