Recon Tires?
#1
Hi, I have a Recon ES. It has stock tires on it, and i would like to change that. We ride a Hatfield-McCoys on the Black diamond trails. Sometimes well go on green trails, and we like to throw it around in the turns, and go fast. What tire might be good for that purpose? Would a serious mud tire like the Gators grip too much to throw it around? I was thinking something like the Dirt Devils, Sur Tracks, or swamp foxs'. Could you please reply and tell me what would be best from experience.
Thank you,

I am very happy with the stock tires, but I no doubt ride conditions that are very different from yours. A lot of this machines great handling characteristics are due to the tires, so when you switch, you will be taking a chance on upsetting it.

We ride on very steep hills, that have some rocks, but not too mush rock. What we ride on the most are very slick hills. We go through some mud holes, but not very many. The reason why i am getting new tires, is they are getting worn down. I would like a tire that wears very good.
Thank you,

I've been maxxis sur traks on mine for over 2 years without getting stuck in anything except deep snow, never got a flat either, and they didn't seem to effect the handling on anything except pavement.
