Default durablue axle ID

How easy is it to identify a durablue axle. And can you tell with out pulling out a tape if it is a wider one? I may be picking up on a 400ex tomorrow and i just want to be sure that its really a durablue.

it should be chrome and on the splines were the hubs go there should be a spacer (it might look like part of the hub but it isn't)

If its a X-33 it will be pin drive and have an extra set of holes to allow different width. If it is one of this typ make sure the hubs are tight on the axel as they can wear if not kept tight.

And for the rest what rolsmojave3
Said.

but im not 100 % sure they only come in chrome
Ask around the honda forum for specifics on the ex versions
