I have decided to put a locker in the front of my Griz. When I first bought it at the end of June, I looked around to see if there even was such a thing. All I found was the High Lifter ATV locker. At the time I was going to wait till the 1 yr manufactures warranty was up before I did this. In case the were some sort of problem I didn't want to void the warranty. I've since changed my mind, and when I went back to these web sites I found that they no longer listed a locker for the Grizzly. High Lifter, and atvpartsdepot both listed it. It was only listed for 98-99 model, but I figured the front diff was probably the same on a 2001. I called atvpartsdepot to find out why it was no longer listed. The guy on the phone said that the Griz was alittle too strong for a front locker and the steering became so heavy that alot of people were sending them back. So here is my question, does anyone know of a locker made by someone else? Or can anyone tell me if there is a place that might still carry the High Lifter locker for a Grizzly? If I have to I'll pull the damn carrier out and weld the pinion gears, but I'd rather find something thats reversable if I can. I'm not too concerned about heavy steering.

 

They stopped selling the locker for the grizz because the people that had one couldnt keep cvs in it. It broke so many, they stopped selling them. I dont think anyone sells them any more, but if you find one I wouldnt recomend it.
