to answer your question for about $450.00 you can get a set of ITP holeshot xct's on wheels. My friends and I all have them and are more than pleased. The tire hooks up when you need it to and breaks when it is supposed to.They are excelent for trail and hare scrammbles.Maybe that's why you see so many at the track.....They were designed for Barry Hawk that alone should tell you something.I got mine at Ronnies for $438.00. hope this helps

IT'S ABOUT TIME SOMEONE ANSWERS A Q.

Just order some ATV catalogs so that you can check out the tires you like, then post them here to ask how they compare to the rest. It really is best not to go cheap, and just get the most durable tire from the start. Titan makes some awesome sport rear tires for really cheap, the Trail-Claw II and Turf Tamer. However, it would be better to spend the extra money to get a tire that will last you twice as long. One of these "tuff" tires that I love is the "maxxis Razr". These things look mean and perform even better, not to mention that they can probably take more of a beating than any other tire there is. Another one of these hi-performance "tuff" tires is the ITP Holeshot XCT. I just like the style of the Razrs more than anything, and have seen them in person taking a beating in the woods. It really matters what type of riding you will be doing. Also, usually you'd want to get new rims to go with the tires. In this case, they'll be ITP or DOUGLAS wheels, which are both excellent.

A catalog I highly recommend is Rocky MTN.'s new 2000 catalog. It's the best quality catalog I've yet seen, and sells lots of tires. To get your own, just call 1-800-481-6724.
