New Vampire will be a 28 x 10.00 x 12. Full production starts in December. Lug depth will be a full 2" deep and weigh from 41 to 43 pounds. To have the lugs this deep, there is no way around the weight. Obviously, this is going to require the most powerful motors to turn them. And, most probably, a lift kit is going to be needed.

I just got off the phone with Interco. They have comfirmed you. They said that the 28-10-12 do have 2 inch grips but they didn't know about the weight. But when I called Highlifter they said the grips are more like 2.5-3 inches. I dought they will come out with a 12 inch wide version because them no quad could spin them, not even the King of the Jungle, the Arctic Cat 500

I asked them what they thought about the tires and all he could say is that the are very agressive but VERY, VERY HEAVY(about 60 pounds per tire and wheel) acording to Jeff Newman the test rider. He only got to test them on a sportsman 500 so he doesn't know how there 500 Honda(Foreman 400 bored out) will handle it.

Arctic Cat 500, Any body esle want these tires?

I got my info straight from a corporate friend. I don't know where Highlifter got their #'s for tread depth, but I am just telling you what I got straight from my friend. I know what day and how many were produced and trust my source. I was told no 12 width is planned. The 12" I am referring to is wheel dia., but I think you understood that. I just wonder if what I want to put them on will handle the stress, now

So tells what you know.
How many were produced?
Who has a set so far?
What does the tred look like?(is it the 27" Vamps with taller grips or is it a new design?)

P.S: what are you planing on putting them on?

SwampMonster,

What do you have these tires on? If you are serioud I might be interested. They might rub on my be hard to steer but if I could get them at a good price it would be worth it.
