Vampire Question?
#1
I orderd my Vampires last week and only my back tires came in[26x12].He said my front[26x9.5]would come in after Thanksgiving. So I decided to go ahead and put the back on.He said as long as I keep it in 2wd It would be ok and when riding in mud I could use 4wd[only in mud]because my front tires are stock25".I was very impressed with them! Now I am wondering if the front will make much difference as the back did? Also what is best when riding in deep soft mud creaping or gunning it?

I think the best way to get threw mud with a Grizz is to slowly aproach it then right before your tires touch the mud nail it. This will make your front end lighter and you won't have to push the mud as much. But since no mud hole is the same you will have find out for your self which works for you and the hole.

with vampires as long as you spin them fast enough for them to self clean then you usually make it, untill the ground clearance becomes a factor.

I gotta disagree with ya on this one Matt! I've found that I can go a lot more places with Vamps by not going "***** to the wall!"
The only thing that happens when I keep the trottle over a crawl is the Vamps try to dig to China.
Anyways Jamie the Vamps are by far the best mud tire you could put on your new Grizz! Just be aware that they dig like a hundred chinese tunnel builders! If your not careful in the mud they'll dig the mud right out from under ya!

Swamp,
I dont knwo about the 27'' ones but mine self clean pretty good at just a crawl. I hardly ever get out of first gear in the really deep stuff. As long as I can slowly spin the tires and I'm not high centered I usually make it out with the vampires. If I had about 5 more inches of GC I would go farther, but I guess thats impossible on a quad.
