For guys who have had they're frame powdercoated. How much did it cost?
Also does anyone know of any small time metal shops that make A-arms for a reasonable price?

There is another post almost the same as this one...
I got an estimate to get my frame blasted and powder coated... with a total cost of around $300 ... It is a specialty shop and they do good work...I guess you get what you pay for. they did my swing arm and bearing carrier for around $200 ...it looks great, and has lasted more than a year now.

The company is named SUMAX cycle products...they do alot of painting and chroming on custom motorcycles(harleys) ...the only draw back is that they are in NY... I would not want to pay to ship a frame to them....Your cost would more than double.

 

The place I'm taking mine to wants $100 per frame. The frame must be sand blasted beforehand.

That sounds about right, I just got mine done on my ATC and it cost 150.00 and the frame was already blasted. Most places I called were 150-200 for a clean frame and 75.00 more for on that needed blating. The place that did mine is Perfection Powder Coating in Rockland Co., NY. Frame looks excellent but bike isn't together yet so I cannot vouch for durability of it. Anybody have theirs done for a while and how is it holding up compared to stock?
