Best dryland traction tires?
#1
Hi all,
I am looking to replace the 589 titans on my 2000 AC 500 4X4. I use this wheeler for lots of different utility work and very little pleasure or trail riding. I live in hilly country and one use I have is towing trailer loads of firewood out of my timber. Currently I have problems when I have to pull a load of wood uphill. The wheeler doesn't run out of power, but I run out of traction. I need a tire that gets maximum traction in normal conditions, i.e. not mud or snow or anything like that.
Any and all input is appreciated.

i think trail wolfs get pretty good traction. thats what i have on my p650, i can get enough traction on grass to get the front tires off the ground as high as i want. they also get better traction than the mudbugs i had on this one hill at my house. i would spin a lot with the bugs, but with the trail wolfs it goes up it without a problem.

propnut,
You are correct. I meant to say that I am replacing the original titan 489s.
Thanks everyone for the help. You've given me good, solid choices to look into.
