Default Probably a stupid question

I was looking at putting on Maxxlite 8 spoke rims on my brute force 750 and was looking at putting on some gator tires. I was going to put the 12x7 rims on the front with an 28x10x12 tire and on the back i was going to put on 12x8 rims with the 28x12x12 tires. I was wondering if that would work since the width of the rims does not match the width of the tires. I am not too familiar with atv tires and was just wanting to see if that would work. If anybody knows if this will work just drop me a line.

Yes they will work. I have 26x10x12 on the front and 26x12x12 on the rear and my wheels are 12x7 front and rear.

Actually you want your tires to be much wider than your rims or they won't seat good...so yes they will work...
