400 EX sprokets
#1
Is there aftermarket sprockets or ideally countershaft sprokets out for the 400 ex? I was wondering if I could go that route for changing track conditions or if the motor has to be built for specific needs? For instance a loose track usually does better with a higher gear, to aleaviate tire spin a bit. Where as a hard track does a little better with a lowwer gear if both are the same size, to aid in quick launches off the turns.
I found a source for 300 ex sprockets, but I think it would take a little more money to modify one to stock 400 performance.
Thanks.
