tire questions

I want to replace my 25/10/12 and 25/8/12 with 26/12/12 using my stock rims. What can I expect??????????

You can expect not to be able to do it.Your stock rim sizes are 10 and 8.Your wanting to go to a tire which requires a 12 rim,wont work.If your going to use the stock rims,you gotta stay with something that will fit on a 10 rim and 8 rim.The second number [25 10 12] indicates your rim size.Good Luck======BILL

No, the last number indicates rim size. The middle number is the tire width. As long as you rim size is the same, you can put just about any width tire on you want.

Nat,you are 100% right.I was loading my quad and looked at the numbers on my tires and ''said'' wow,I better get back on the PC quickly and re-make my last post.I tried to post my mistake before anyone else,but AOL was down.The numbers you mention will work because it is the third number that indicates your rim size like Nat said.I apolagize for my mistake.Best of luck,also,Nat thanks for helping out.=====BILL
