Strength of Alloy Rims?

I just ordered a set of Motosportalloy Castle Rocks for my 650.
Are alloy rims strong enough for rock crawling? I had bent up my steel rims pretty well, but never had them lose air. At least with steel, you can pound it back into shape.
Any rock crawlers out there that can help me feel confident in the strength of these things?
I like the lighter weight and the good looks. I hope they are strong.
Of course, the manufacturer told me they were much stronger than the steel and that they've never had one break or crack.

I have the very light original ITP Magnum rims, the ones that got the light 12X7" rim craze started. I totally trust the rim strength, but not the lip. The lip is very fragile, which is no problem IF I AM RIDING THE BIKE. I rock crawl with no problems and my Holeshot ATR tires have pretty good lip protection (great protection in the back), but I can pick a good line that won't damage the rims. My girlfriend on the other hand, can ding a rim riding down a paved road.
The Magnums and the ATR's make an extremely light combination, which makes the already great weight-to-power ratio of the Ranchers even better!
