does anyone know the sound level of a fmf megamax1 exhuast? Thanks.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

my friend had one on his 250X, you can tune how loud it is by how many disc's you put in. my friends made his quad have a low pittched rumble sound, not that loud. sounded really good.

Whatever you want. You need to run a minimum of 8 discs. You can also run a quet core for minimum sound, and that favors low end power. Or, no quiet core and about a dozen discs, which favors high end power.

On a 300ex with 9 plates, the DNR checked it at 99.5db. The muffler was a few years old so, with new packing it may be lower.
