I have an 04 banshee with stock rims and tires. I have a pair of ITP rims that are 10x8. My questions is what are the shortest tires that i can put on this rim. This rim is bigger than the stock and I dont want to change the height of the bike. A local dealer had a pair of tire that would fit but would raise the bike up a considerable amount about 3"-4" which would make the bike handle like crap. What do the measurements mean on the rim? What is the 10" and the 8". Same with the tire? What size tire would you recommend I put on this rim?

i would go with a 20 11 8

 

The 10 mean how wide the rim or tire is and the 8 mean rim size.

 

The stock banshee tires are 20 inches tall.Just order a set of tires that are 20 inches tall.I've had good luck with rocky mountain atv when buying tires.Just tell them your rim size and they should be able to help.
