What is the best tire combo for 400ex in woods? I have a 2000 honda 400ex. I want to ride it in woods and in thick mud. What is the best brand/style tire front and rear to get the best out of the bike. My biggest concern is to not get stuck in the mud. Also, please advise on sprocket toothe ratios to match tire sizes.

By the way I have stock fronts now and holeshots in the rear and my bike has a 440 kit on it.

 

I live in the arid southwest, so I'm no expert on what works best in mud, but Holeshot H-D's might be worth a look.

 

I live in a town that gets a grand total of 40in of rain a year, Mud isn't here either but I heard H-Ds are really nice

 

I would 21 or 22s in the back and the same for the front.
