ever heard of putting 7 fibers 7 friction on a warrior

Default ever heard of putting 7 fibers 7 friction on a warrior

I know they come stock with 6 but i have room ....just wanted to see if its been done before

and you would benifit how by doing this???? i understand that you just want to know if any one has done this, but why would you need more friction plates. that is what the basket and pressure plate/hub are for.

If you were to do this i don't believe that the clutch would dis engage. You would have to buy custom springs, or choped spings, that would have the correct free and compressed length. i bleieve the stock springs would have coil bind. Also would 7 fit? i have never really looked into but, for my warrior i am conent with the stock setup.

Well it looks like you're not getting any help from anyone who's tried it. I have seen people say they've done this before on their modified warriors. You may want to search in the Yamaha forum and probably post there too if you havent already.

The reason I want to do it is to get my wheels to hook up ..In the high end of fourth fifth and sixth I rip through the clutch...but I will keep searching and yes there is room for one more of each..
