Default D.I.D X-Ring?

Does anyone have the newer x-ring chain and if so how would you compare it to other o-ring chains. Is is true that roller chains wear out the sprockets faster than o-ring chains? Also for you 400EX owners, are any of you running a 14T/38T gearing setup and is it worth sacrificing the top end speed? How fast does your 14/38 400EX setup go? With my stock setup I hit 69MPH on a straight-away on a calm day. Now I have a White Bros. E-Series full system exhaust and rev box so I bet I could do 70-71MPH with my current 15/38 gear ratio.

Also, what is the number of links needed for a stock chain on the EX? Is it 92?

i have never heard of one chain wearing spockets more than the other. i know for a fact an o-ring chain will out last a non o-ring chain if you ride in water, mud, etc. i am assuming you are calling a non o-ring chain a roller chain. if not i have never heard of a roller chain. now you answer to the chain link. you need a 520 chain with 94 links. i can say the d.i.d atv x-ring is a very strong chain, but like anyother chain if you dont keep it clean and lubed it wont last as long.
