Default TRX90 Chain

Looking to replace the chain on my sons TRX90 and am wondering if this one will work? The stock chain according to Rocky Mountain is a 428x98, they only show non o-ring chains for it but I found this on amazon.

Amazon.com: D.I.D 428 Pro-Street VX Series X-Ring Chain - 100 Links - Natural Steel , Chain Type: 428, Chain Length: 100, Color: Black, Chain Application: Offroad 428VXX100FB: Automotive Amazon.com: D.I.D 428 Pro-Street VX Series X-Ring Chain - 100 Links - Natural Steel , Chain Type: 428, Chain Length: 100, Color: Black, Chain Application: Offroad 428VXX100FB: Automotive

If I drop 2 links it should work just fine right?

Saw a couple on ebay. Some were a little cheaper than the Amazon too.

Thanks I will check ebay too. Will any 428 chain work that has 98 or more links if I shorten it to 98 links?

I would personally get one that's longer. Also a really great thing to have is a chain breaker. A broken chain can ruin a weekend, but having some extra and the tool to fix it can save one.

All 428 chains will work. If you get one that has orings, be careful what you use to lube it with. Some stuff can actually dry the orings out.
