Hey!! I am currently designing a drive train for a mini baja, which I figure is pretty close to an ATV's. I am torn between using a solid axle or using a differential. Once designed, our mini baja will be built and brought to competition to compete in a wide variety of things including hill climb, being able to float and manuever through water, and lasting for 4 hours on a very rough course. Any suggestions as to whether a solid axle or a differential would be better?
