Clutch kits
#1
Can anyone give me some advice on different manufacturer's clutch kits - which ones are good, ones to avoid, etc.? Please give me actual experiences and not just unfounded opinions/heresay. I'm considering purchasing an EBC Kevlar "EP" clutch kit for my Banshee, so I'm looking for any info that can help me with that decision. Thanks.

I'd suggest avoiding kevlar clutches. They can last longer than a regular clutch, but they also have the potintial to do a lot of damage. My neighbor smoked his on his 250r, and when kevlar clutches start coming apart they release gritty sand-like particles into your oil, which can tear up a transmission pretty quick. He ended up replacing all the bearings and some of the gears in the transmission because of it.
