Default Mudlites on dry land?

I recently purchased a set of 25" mudlites for my 03 popo sportsman 500 and i am sold on the mud part. I don t think i had to use 4 wheel but once.(bottomed out)But now on dry land its a different story. They just don t seem to handle well at all. It feels like the front end is coming off the ground and steering is very weird.Anyone have any input on this? I ordered a new set of 25" rims and i am going to put used goodyear mudrunners on and see if they make a difference on the dry land. I was thinking of just putting them on the back but with the way its steering i might have to change all 4. Anyone looking to buy the mudlites xl's for mudding,i say u can t beat em, but on the dry i m just not sold yet.Seems very sloppy. Help?

Mud lites are what they say they are. A light weight MUD tire. I looked carefully before buying and got the Interco Swamplites. An ALL TERRAIN tire, with the added bonus of a specific mud lug, and snow lug, and hardpack lugs, I have super traction in about everything. The mudlites are a great tire for mud,i looked at them myself, but probably not meant for comfortable trail riding, and i wanted something i could do everything with. If you ever get new tires, check these things out, they give you traction in every type of riding

I have the Mudlites and they are definitely rough on hard trail. They also seem to grab at any and everything. They are a great mud tire but I have found them to have extremely weak sidewalls. I have never had a punture on 2 ply stock tires but I now have 4 plugs in my Mudlite sidewalls. Suggestion: make sure to pack a plug kit.

Air pressure can make a huge differance in tires. The front end may feel lighter because you are getting more traction under excelleration and lifting up the front end.

I have 22" mudlites and I like them way way better than my stockers for everything, including dry trails and even road riding. Mine don't give a rough ride at all (maybe because they are the small lug version) and are great for hill climbing.
