Default works for my ex?

i was contemplating new front shocks for my 300. i found some works A-T Steelers. what im wondering is will i get more travel with stock a-arms? my front shocks keep bottoming, thier on thier tighest setting, and i know how to land, but man, they bottom so easy. will i get more travel from the new shocks? 500-600 bucks is alot to spend on something that won't help the problem.

You won't gain much travel, maybe half an inch. The new shocks will not bottom nearly as aesy though. They set them up for your weight and riding style. It is amazing how much faster you will be able to ride. I put a set of steelers on my 300ex, and I think the were less then $400.
