I purchased a gorrilla winch and the wiring directions weren't in the box....I can't get the company to answer emails and would like to get it done...Does anyone have the wiring diagram for one?

 

You've probably done it by now. If not post a reply and I'll scan what I have.

 

Switch Wiring:

Green = Green
Black = Black
Red = 12v Hot wire with ignition turned on

Soleniod Wiring:

Red from battery = Red Post
Black from battery = Black Post
Red from winch = Blue Post
Black from winch = Yellow Post

That will get you going and the above is straight out of my 2500 winch manual.

What model ATV are you installing this winch on? Just curious because I have an 06 Honda Rancher ES and after installing the winch mounting plate my oil cooler fan runs more since the winch mounting plate cuts off the air flow to the cooler. I'm going to take a uni-bit to the plate next weekend and add 3 holes under where the winch is mounted to get some of the air flow back without weakening the plate.
