Default raptor700r suspension

Hey everybody I'm new here and I just bought a raptor 700r and I am wondering how to set it up. I weigh about 202 6'3" and i ride pretty aggresive mainly on tracks. I am getting a lot of lean in the corners and bottoming out. My buddy told me I needed to set the sag and I acted like I knew what he was talkin about but I didnt. any help tips info whatever would be awesome. also I put a twist throttle on it and I am not to crazy about it I am thinking of changing it any input?

This will get you started. There are other articles as well, I will try to scare them up for you: http://atv.off-road.com/atv/article/....jsp?id=192286

I have personally never liked a twist throtle on a quad.

The factory shocks are fairly soft for a better trail ride. Sag is the suspension compression/rebound settings. If you are bottoming out and rolling in corners, you need to stiffen the settings. I would upgrade your shocks and have them set up for your riding style and weight. Or, I believe the 450's shocks bolt into place on a Raptor. But I don't think stockers are meant to handle aggressive riding. I too have never liked a twist throttle on a quad. I have it now on my 3 wheeler, but I'm going to change it back to thumb.

awesome article I changed the twist throttle back to the thumb and i rode so much better. It was amazing how much difference that made. I bottomed out on a table top and ripped off my rear skid plate I knew I should've upgraded that one as well.
